Last week quotes

I endeavor to be wise when I cannot be merry, easy when I cannot be glad, content with what cannot be mended and patient when there is no redress. Elizabeth Montagu

Hope is a higher heart frequency, and as you begin to re-connect with your heart, hope is waiting to show you new possibilities and arrest the downward spiral of grief and loneliness. Listening to the still small voice in your heart will make hope into a reality. Sara Paddisonis

People who throw kisses are mighty hopelessly lazy. (!) ~Bob Hope

In the long run, we shape our lives, and we shape ourselves. The process never ends until we die. And the choices we make are ultimately our own responsibility. Eleanor Roosevelt

Here is a poem I wrote about 10 years ago.

When I Am Gone

Do not forget, when I am gone,
My raucous laugh;
You once called it "dirty"...
When you hear the jokes I miss,
Laugh a little longer, for me.

And do not forget the other side,
The darker side,
You once called it "depressive"...
When seeing tears on silent faces,
Listen a little longer, for me.

And from where I am, that part of me
You never knew,
You would have called it "silly"...
That part, which sought to revere my God,
Will pray a little longer, for you.....

Your quotes from Kalhil the other day reminded me of the time I wrote this.
